Using up Fabric
I've been going through all my fabric scraps trying to use them to finish little projects I've been meaning to do. With some extra canvas I had laying around I made this cute little pouch for my sewing machine cords. It turned out pretty well and it is nice to have them all put together. Enjoy:)

What a great idea! I should make something like that, my cords are a mess. How did you do the little straps? So cute!
I cut a long strip about 1.5 inches wide and 18 inches long then folded it half way on one side(hotdog style) and the other side making the seem on the back. I used a zigzag stitch to close it up then wrapped it around the cord to figure out what length to use and where to put the Velcro then sewed that on and wrapped it up...I hope that makes sense.
